I entered the film industry in 1978 as a runner/tea-boy at the age of eighteen and gradually worked my way up through the ranks of assistant-directing before becoming a location manager in 1985. Throughout the rest of the 80s and first half of the 90s, I was location manager and then production manager on numerous feature films and television dramas.
